The Wealthsimple Ecosystem Advantage

The most important transfer capability that Wealthsimple Cash has over all other digital banks is the instant internal transfer to investment accounts. This is unique to the Wealthsimple ecosystem.

Transfer TypeTime

Wealthsimple Cash → Wealthsimple InvestInstant
External bank → Wealthsimple Trade (EFT)1–3 business days

Keeping a cash buffer in Wealthsimple Cash means that buffer earns interest (3.00–4.00%+) and is instantly deployable into investments when needed. The 1–3 day delay that applies to external bank funding is eliminated entirely.
